Mama Ngina Kenyatta: Sell my property if I’ve not paid tax

In remarks clearly pointing at the recent political furore accusing her family of not paying taxes, Mama Ngina said politicians were peddling lies so that they can be seen to be working. Mama Ngina said tax matters can be addressed through government channels and - if need be - law courts, adding that public rallies have no place in matters taxation.

In parliament only the former president kenyatta and moi were exempted from taxation( from their salaries and not from their private businesses) there was no law which was passed to exempt kibaki or uhuru kenyatta from paying tax, nor their businesses. Why should a hawker or mama mboga pay tax while a millionare who is not even physically challenged be exempted from paying tax? Are we blind or sick. Our grandfathers two paid tax by shedding blood and even after they have been tax till they died. Every kenyan is working hard to see the immense growth of our country and i think all should pay tax from their salaries, businesses, per Dms and all sorts of allowances.
