Freezer Meal Prep Cook With Me! Real Life Throwing Together Food For My Family!

Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share this new freezer meal prep with you while I do some cooking in the kitchen and throw some meals together for my family while I go through the rest of my morning sickness. I'm 13 weeks along and typically continue to feel the effects of morning sickness until I'm around 20 weeks so I know I have a little longer to go. It definitely helps me that I take a few hours out of the day to prep some meals for the week ahead!

I freeze limes and lemons all the time then microwave them in 1 minute increments until they are thawed. I get the most juice that way and I have fresh juice whenever I need it!

My dad passed 10 years ago today, 3/19/12 to aml leukemia. He fought so so hard. I needed this video today. Thank you for keeping my mind busy for a bit. Each year has been hard without him. I keep wondering when this will get easier, as “they” say grief gets easier with time…I haven’t found that to be true for myself. I remain hopeful that it will get easier.

Thank u so much for sharing the German potato recipe. My husband is German decent and has such fond memories of being at his grandparents who lived just up the road. He would help his Opa in the garden. He especially loved going in the sauna and coming out and rolling in the snow. The sounds of the sauerkraut fermenting in the basement. He also spoke fluent German when he was young and although he is not fluent anymore he stills understand alot. When he left his small home town to move to the big city he moved in with a wonderful German family for a couple years. They are still a huge part of our family and are like his second parents. So this was really special to get this recipe. I am making it right this minute. Thanks again!

Owls were hooting here last night and this morning. Something was out there howling this morning too. Dog probably. Coyote possible. I live in town but rural area. I make potatoes like that or slice them. Have never added bacon but i will now. They are great for breakfast with over easy eggs (I like to dip them in that runny yoke) or top them with sausage gravy. I started making homemade cream of celery soup about a year ago. Thank you for this video. I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant and I have a food aversion to garlic. Haven't really been able to cook at all lately cause I was sooo sick.
