Beautifully illustrated and the result is excellent and I will be copying you. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. Update... I made them. Lovely. A couple of things... For the weight in the bottom instead of beans you can also use popcorn kernels. They're perfect. And if you don't have stuffing then use a mesh bath sponge it works great.

One of the most simplest ways I’ve seen to easily make the segments in the pumpkins and the best idea to make the stems. This made me just subscribe 👍🏼Thank you 😊
@GabbyGirl735 жыл бұрын
First time watching your videos and liked this one. The proper term for the stitch you are using is a "running" stitch, not a basting stitch. The difference between the two is, a running stitch is permanent and left in. A basting stitch is not ~ It is used to hold layers together and is always removed. As for the filling, you would buy poly-fil, not batting. Batting is used in quilting and is flat, whereas poly-fil comes in a big bag and is fluffy for stuffing things! Hope you don't mind me giving you the correct terms. Love these pumpkins ~ I'm going to make some tomorrow! Thanks so much for sharing ~ They're adorable and look so easy to make!

I love these little pumpkins I'm so happy I came across your channel. I did the first pumpkin you made from dollar tree. Since it's light weight I added beans in a plastic bag placed it inside the pumpkin to make it heavy. It came out so nice I used a cream colored sweater, some fall leaves and small sunflowers etc. I made 2 fall pumpkins and I love the way it came out. Thanks so much for sharing can't wait to see the next thing you come up with. 😄 God bless you.

Was wondering if you could use a rubber band instead?
@MamaDaresToDIY5 жыл бұрын
Hey Teresa! You could absolutely use a rubber band. Just be careful and don't pop yourself with it. Also they are pretty bad about dry rotting, so just be sure to add the hot glue to the inside so your pumpkin doesnt come apart. ;)
@mindyloper44545 жыл бұрын
I REALLLLLY wanna know how you did the fat gawdy stem on the other little 1 when you brought them up to the camera side by side right when you finished w/ the pumpkin you worked on thru video .. aaaaand I've always been quite a crafty person buttttt my stem looks horrendous & I do nottt understand whyyyyyy!!!😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hey I saw a video where several pieces of jute were attached in the bottom middle of the sweater scrunched in with the hair rubberband then hanging long straight out of the bottom of the pumpkin so that when she got done her jute was already attached inside the bottom and she just had to bring them up the sides and to the top where i think she may have tied the pieces in a bow not sure but seemed so time saving!! ;)
