My abuelita used to make nicaraguan rellenas which are incredibly similar to pupusas, cheese, chicharron or both inside, thick and tortilla-like etc. And because me and my siblings love pizza she would add pepperonis and spread homemade pizza sauce all over the rellenas. Those plátanos (plantains) where not ripe and something was wrong with those beans. The pastelitos needed their ensaladita de repollo, (cabbage salad), or curtido and tomato sauce. Same for the yuca frita. Never seen such big chunks chicken in a pan de pollo. Where did you all get that food, so I don’t go there 😂 I really appreciate them trying Salvadoran food though! Lulu had me cheering with her reaction to the horchata, pan de pollo, and ensalada de fruta, and the tamal. Thank you all for showing our pulgarcito's food!

I would give my friend a funny look, and ask why they call them that cause its a big banana lol, They'd ask me what we call bananas and say "guineo" and the confused looks would ensue with laughter. Guineo = Banana, Platano = Plantain, Habichuelas = beans. I love these vids, keep em coming!
