You should have used a molasses based rum, you’re supposed to make Mamajuana with dark rum.

I would have preferred to use one, but the recipe did say you could use either!

Just found out about a fragrance from daythree fragrances called Ambar Dominicano that smells kinda like Mamajuana. It smells delicious

Dark rum would be waaaaay better. Would pair best with the medicinal bark and plant matter.

Thanks for the feedback. The instructions said white or dark could be used and I only had white at the time!

You could certainly try it out, but it wouldn't be a normal Mamajuana recipe

How did you get top of the karibu bottle off. The hole is so tiny I can’t fit anything in it to fill it.

The plastic insert pops out. Try a butter knife
