aw, jjing jjing! so happy she's immortalized in both "taller than you" and "my hometown" mvs jjing jjing was solar's salt and pepper schnauzer that had been with her for 18 years and passed away last year (solar waited more than a month to even tell the other members because she didn't want them to worry) and it really is great that these women are encouraged to do songs like this... their ceo saw them bickering about their height multiple times so suggested they make a song about it, partially to focus their energies to avoid becoming bitter about the bickering, partly just because it's a ridiculous concept for a song when they were filming the mv for "taller than you", the ceo saw solar and wheein bickering again, in a playful way, complaining about having to stay up late to film yet needing to be there early the next morning, too. he mentioned wanting to make a song out of that, too. and sure enough, "sleep in the car" was born from that bickering and even has the lyrics "we're making this into a song again" in it they even did two skits built around this song for their 4 seasons concerts. the spring/summer concert had 3 of their wishes to be taller granted in the most ridiculous ways (some of which are referenced in the song itself, actually) and the fall/winter concert went the other direction, with the tallest three getting shrunk down. both are ridiculous in the best way possible and remind people that these are natural comedians as well as amazingly gifted singers
