oh man, i forgot how much of a rollercoaster this tipsy live was. they didn't actually get tipsy in it (unlike all the previous ones) since they just had champagne and none of them are really fond of it, but were still total chaos when they weren't being so serious as for why they weren't looking at each other while delivering those messages near the end... it was to keep from crying, since every single one was on the verge of tears, both saying what they had to say and hearing what the others said. they've all admitted that none are good at giving (or receiving) compliments, so any time they try to talk about how much they mean to each other they all pretty much just turn into a blubbering mess and i think a big reason moonbyul is like she is (like hwasa said, usually holding her emotions in check, watching out for everyone else, staying 'centered' compared to the rest) is because she's an older sister, the only older sister in mamamoo (solar and hwasa are younger sisters in their families, wheein is an only child) so she kind of learned to do that growing up, watching out for her younger siblings (i'm similar, eldest sibling in my family and am known to play the 'mother' role in groups, trying to make sure everyone is doing as okay as possible and so on) and yeah... leadership roles are tough, esp for someone like solar who has had zero experience before it was suddenly pushed onto her (since there was originally a 5th member to be in mamamoo, who would have been the leader. when she dropped out as a trainee, that role went to an unsuspecting solar) and even 7 years later, she's still learning, though has come a long way and formed herself and the group in a way that seems to work best for them. like byul points out here, though, she's known for trying to keep her hardships to herself and not burden the other members, though every single one of them has told her she can rely on them the same way they rely on her

there's actually a pretty good video about solar's leadership called 'solar being the leader and mother of mamamoo' because...well, she kind of is... in fact, on more than one occasion, when asked to describe solar in one word, hwasa has replied with 'mother' or 'mom' (though, lately she's been teasing solar by calling her grandma)
