Filipino Reactor. Keeping it real and natural.
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my KZbin Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

Piano Man (Gaon Chart KPOP Awards 2015) (Its crazy how they were only rookies at this time 😭 1 year after debut) 4. Destiny + HIP (MBC Music Vlive Awards V Heartbeat 2019) 5. Egotistic + Starry Night (MAMA performance 2018) (its their first mama performance and they slayed af) The immortal songs medley you reacted is crazy good but i really wish u could react the full performance for each immortal songs performance they did 🥺🥺 There are 14 altogether and they are all amazing but to pick as suggestions would be - Backwoods (they won in this episode) - Wonderful Confession (they won for this too) - Dancing in Rhythm (and won for this too) - Delilah (my fav) - Way to Sampo (my fav too haha) - Passion Flower - Story of A Girl They are the only idol group that had won 3 times in Immortal Songs and also idol group that had the most appearances in that show (14 times 😭) As always, i love your reactions Nephi!

mamamoo is just so good! decalcomanie and hip are my favorites from them as a group but im also addicted to solo stuff from all of them. have you ever done any reactions to the group little mix? they are another 4 member group of outstandingly talented women who slay harmonies. they recently did a cover of the song falling that is just simply beautiful!

Immortal Songs performances. They started as a Rookie girl group, then the show kept on inviting them because they are so good. Total of 14 performances and won 3 trophies. Basically covering old songs and make it their own, there were no rap back then, Moonbyul wrote the raps herself. Galing sa concert nila ung medley, 2nd half of their 2 to 3 hours concert. On your own time you can watch their full concerts their latest is 4 hours. :) Have fun in the radish farm.

Good taste. Solar is the leader and lead crackhead in the group. When I first got into Mamamoo I thought she was just a silly, pretty airhead but her voice soon won me over, as did her multi-faceted personality, multi-talented artistry, and her leadership style once I got to know her. They're all great but Solar is the one who can make me cry at the bend of a note. This concert footage was filmed in 2017 and they've only gotten better since then. You're going to want to binge watch all 14 of their appearances on the Immortal Songs 2 tv show. My favs are Delilah and Backwoods but they're all terrific. If you want to see a great live performance by Solar watch her iconic 15-20 min solo stage during their 2019 4 Seasons F/W concerts. There are lots of fancams but the video titled MAMAMOO 4S F/W CONCERT COMPLETE (ENG SUB) has pro quality video and sound and English subtitles. It's a 4+ hour long concert. Solar's solo starts at 2:12:10.

I think you mentioned in an old comment that you don't react to Mamamoo anymore because of monetization/copyright issues. I'm glad that you put this video up nonetheless, because of the hundred or so reactions to this performance on youtube this is my favorite. A singer appreciating their fantastic vocal technique, listening the performance as a whole without pauses, and recognizing the greatness of the group and their band together. Picking a favorite, but acknowledging the sheer talent of all 4 instead of ignoring them. We know its good when someone like you could break down everything they are doing well, but instead just sit back and smile while you listen. I hope you reconsider and put more Mamamoo on your channel, but even if you don't I'm glad that you took the time to record this. This is likely their best live singing performance in their 8+ years together, so it's nice to have someone who appreciates their talent react to them.
