The song at the end of “starry night” is called “be calm.” It’s a hwasa solo song from that album. During the Four Seasons album project, each album was thematically representative of one of the members by their own season, color and vibe and each member had a solo song on their album. Hwasa had “be calm” Moonbyul “selfish” (ft red velvet seulgi) Solar “hello” & Wheein “25”

Egotistic and Starry Night are from the concept of Mamamoo called "4 Seasons 4 Colors". this is the best concepts in kpop. each member has a season and a color and they released 4 mini-albums that represent the color and season for the member and each mini album has a title track and a solo(Moonbyul has a duo with Seulgi from Red Velvet). the prelude song/MV of the project is called Paint Me and it shows the color and seasons of the members. the project starts with Hwasa: spring season and yellow color. mini album: Yellow Flower, title track: Starry Night, Hwasa solo: Be Calm(the song in the end of Starry Night). next is Moonbyul: summer season and red color. mini-album: Red Moon, title track: Egotistic, Moonbyul feat Seulgi: Selfish. next is Solar: fall season and blue color. mini-album: Blue;s, title track: Wind Flower, Solar solo: Hello. and lastly Wheein: winter season and white color. mini-album: White Wind, title track: Gogobebe(it has a rock version and it is a must listen), Wheein solo: 25.

I am so sorry that I am late but that's ok I have been pretty busy lately, I am so glad that you reacted to more Mamamoo they are such a PHENOMENAL Group just Wow and all of these Music Videos were just Spectacular Egotistic is just Iconic it's catchy and the Visuals are just something else the Rap is crazy and the Vocals are just WOW, Where Are We Now is such a Gorgeous Music Video the Vocals Rap Visuals and just everything about it was Amazing (Also you don't know this yet but them at the end was referring back to Wind Flower I bet they ate a lot of ice cream in these Music Videos), Dingga is such a catchy song and very Underated Moonbyul's Rap is INSANE it has to be one of my favorite Raps or maybe even my Favorite from her and the Vocals again WOW, and Starry Night will ALWAYS have a special place in my Heart it was my first song from them that I heard and it is just SPECTACULAR (It definitely is my Favorite Music Video from them) everything about it is Amazing from the Vocals the Visuals the Rap and the Dance just everything was a Chef's Kiss (Also I am pretty sure that they shot it in New Zealand)! Mamamoo are just Queens of Vocals them and Red Velvet (speaking of Red Velvet you NEED to check out some Red Velvet they have the best Vocalist in the Generation named Wendy her Vocal Range is a four octave and it's just Wow and their Songs are just Phenomenal as well!) They've only done teasers a couple of times - you happened to pick the right songs. I think they added the teaser for Hwasa's solo song Be Calm because Starry Night was the first title track of MMM's 4 album project called 4 Season 4 Color. Each album had a featured member who did a self-composed solo song so I think they were introducing that concept. Be Calm is almost a lullaby - it's musical comfort food and is a very heartfelt and meaningful song to Hwasa. There's a low budget MV for it that fits the personal tone of the song. Egotistic was the 2nd title track in the 4S4C project. Besides having a featured member each album was related to a season and a color and the title tracks followed four stages in a relationship cycle. Egotistic was the Summer/Red song and red equals passion in the 4S4C color scheme. So that's why we got four red-hot mamas who are red-hot with anger about the egotistic lover and aren't going to put up with it anymore. lol There's lots more semi-hidden symbolism in the MV. Where Are We Now is my pick for song of the year and I doubt it's going to change. I think the scene you paused where we see them from above in the white dresses has a double meaning. If you look at their formation it looks like a reversed & upside down 7 and an unfinished 4. WAWN is about their 7 year journey together and I think the unfinished 4 implies that they're not done yet and have a lot more exploring to do as a group. The scene immediately switches to the field with the circle of lights as their voices lift us to the heavens, which I think symbolizes the love & support of moomoos that carried them to success. 💖

Where are We Now is referring to Mamamoo. if you watch the youtube video "Mamamoo's Story" and see what they've been through, Where Are We Now will hit you different. since your mom likes emotional ballads she will love Wheein. she has a few ballads including OST's for Korean dramas: Anymore, Goodbye, Butterfly, Shadow, Shine on You, With My Tears, I Wish. her solo 25, No Thanks, Flower cover, BTS Dimple cover, EXO Love Shot cover, and Forget Me Now in Duet Music Festival are also amazing songs that showcase her r&b vocals. your mom and you will definitely like some of those. even thought these are r&b they still have a good impact cause of her vocals and emotions.

I'm late to this reaction... so you probably know what I'm about to say. "Where Are We Now" is all about THEM... it was 7 years since Debut, hadn't signed a new contract yet. It's them reflecting on their Journey as Mamamoo and friends. Solar even had a bunch of fake tatoos done, as she is the only one without actual tattoos. Just to see what it was like(her sisters), took hours to have them done. The bit at the end of "Starry Night" is a little teaser for another song. They do that often.
