With the mamamoo group and individual soloists' discography, I think they can produce a musical similar to Mamma Mia. Just needs a writer creative enough to incorporate the songs into a well written story.

They're actually calling each other the "bad guy". The video and song were based on a Korean myth about a king and a nine tailed fox, disguised as a human. They fell in love, but on their wedding night, the fox revealed her true form, only to be rejected by the king. So they both feel betrayed and call the other a bastard. Moonbyul (naturally) is wearing the blue robe of a groom and the five toed dragon of the king, while Solar is wearing the red of the bride, sliced into panels to represent the tails.

Looking up the myth, it seems the king had good reason to be suspicious, as the fox had a tendency to eat her lovers' livers.

It's their first single album but their first official song as unit was actually Better (feat Big Naughty). Before that, the duo did amazing collabs, with Promise U, Bada Boom and Like Yesterday 😊

I saw them live in Japan at the end of last year when they had just started their world tour and when I tell you I couldn't stop crying 😂 I will definitely see them again once they announce the Europe dates, wherever they will go I have to attend at least one or two dates.

Aaaah I'm so happy you finally reacted to them!! Solar and Moonbyul released a couple of songs together before and they released a single as Mamamoo+ last year featuring Big Naughty but this is the first time they are actually releasing an album and promoting together as a unit.

It's a type of Korean musical theatre called pansori. "Pan" has multiple meanings but is used here as "gathering place" and "sori" means sound/song. Its usually a story by singer and drummer and originates from the 17th century, hence the modern versions of hanbok and the instruments used including those in the video gayageum, daegeum, janggu and jing gong, although it does sound like others are used not shown in the video. (Possibly Haegum and Senap?) There are 5 standard stories (mandang) told now in pansori (there were more.) .This story in the video could be "Chunhyangga". Seems closest to that particular one. Linked songs - " chico malo" obv means bad boy.. and GGBB being Good Girl Bad Boy... Please react to Fifty Fifty at some point... most big reactors have done so and PD especially loves them. so i believe the 3 thieves is a reference (you alluded to it with han ga in) to the 3 men who married Kim Tae Hee, Han Ga In, and most recently Kim Yuna (world-renowned figure skater, winning multiple titles and Olympic medals), respectively. It refers to the men who essentially stole their hearts and "stole" them from the Korean public. I could be wrong though. Hence why a lot of Korean celebs joke about Rain being a thief who stole Kim Tae Hee, Yeon Jong Hoon who stole Han Ga In, and Go Woo-Rim (a member of a vocal quartet Forestella) who stole Kim Yuna

I just learned that a few days ago in a fansign Solar said one of the background sounds such as 1:17-1:22 in the MV was actually an adlib sung by her in a gugak (Korean traditional music) style that she learned by watching performances as a judge in Poongryu Captain (풍류대장), a traditional crossover music competition show, while we all thought it was from some kind of traditional instrument like haegeum (해금/奚琴) (similar to urhu (二胡) but a bit different in material and fingering).
