This is her 4th round performance in the show Second World, which was a singing competition among 8 rappers. Moonbyul crushed it. My other favorite performance from the show is Moonbyul and Exy (from WJSN) doing Energetic. The song is by Psi originally and it's talking about having a rough day and comforting people. Recognizing that everyone has rough days. The videos are on that theme.

OMG thank you for reacting to this and also Yes, this is a contest called second world wherein girl group rappers compete as vocalist. This was the fourth round, Moonbyul covered a song of Psy entitled refuge. This performance made me quite emotional HAHA Moonbyul delivers pieces like this quite well.

The question in the video clips was like “how was your day?” So they were talking about how they overcome their tiring days..like spending time with friends, pets, drinking.. since the song is about a place/someone to lean on and everyone has their own struggles. She won this competition btw.

So this song has a very deep meaning. the song begin with “Did you have a hard day today?” its basicly said “life is hard, my heart is not cold enough for this world, and sometime i need something/someone to lean on and to be able to continue with this hard world”. Since this is the elimination round of a contest, Moonbyul is the last one to peform and she really did put her heart and soul into that song so you can see the other contestants and the judge actually related to their life and many of them started crying. I listened to this song the first time when I was having the hardest moment of my life and this song literally saved me. You should really watch the version with eng sub on gg of this song

Also I have some information about this performance 1. The reason that Moonbyul chose this song is to give comfort to the listeners through this performance 2. From the opening of this performance, there is a Korean phrase showing in the screen, it means 'How are you today?'
