This is how you know groups in kpop are different than traditional western groups in the West you have to know how to harmonize to be considered a true group that’s why many groups sing without music but in kpop the group concepts are so different that it’s not needed to sing in harmony but that’s what I’ve always liked about mamamoo they remind me of a western group they can sing and perform live and can harmonize.

AGraceT I'm not a fan of BP, but from what I can see they're doing a lot better in the US musicality wise, especially their concert with Pharrell, their voices are completely different (and soulful) compared their generic (which I dislike - non emotive) 'k-pop' songs. I agree though, Mamamoo deserves an international stage for performing as their stage presence trumps most girl groups; both western and eastern.
