they're not underrated. they don't make live shows in the West so of course they won't have the fanbase of BTS. Mamamoo youtube channel has 6 million subscribers. BTS has 65 million. it's not that they're underrated. they have small fanbase compared to other groups. Mamamoo is the only female group that has 14 performances on Immortal Songs. the 2nd female group has 4. 14 vs 4 is not even a competition, and Mamamoo made 5 performances in 2015. and the show still want them but they don't go cause they said it's too stressful. Mamamoo is the only female group that performed on Best of the Best special episode. in 2020 Soribaba awards the narrator introduced Mamamoo as "vocal queens with impeccable live vocals". they were the 2nd most requested group to perform to festivals. they won Queendom. explain to me how they're underrated cause i don't see it. the company promote them just fine. the CEO said that in 2020 they were gonna do live shows in the West, but covid appeared. Mamamoo would perform to Coachella for start, but with covid they couldn't go, and Coachella was canceled anyway.
