A lot of people love bringing up other gg name saying they're on the same level as mamamoo?? They might be better individually tho but not as a group! None of the group mentioned are as versatile as mamamoo. They can't do acapella as good as mamamoo and their line distributions are not as equally fair as mamamoo. There will always be one member who overshadow the others. Their songs also didn't help show off their actual strength. So no, none of the group even come close to mamamoo. We're talking about them as a whole right now. I personally think that Mamamoo really fits that image and in a more powerful way. They really started from the bottom, and using only their talent they were able to get where they are now. Kpop has never seen an idol group at these levels of vocals, ever. Most groups have a main vocalist, often one just above average, but Mamamoo has 3 outstanding and excellent vocalists. PLUS one of the best rappers of this generation. The charisma in each of the members as they perform is unmatched by any other girl group. Their stages really are something special

@@cherissetillman8973 Yeah, Moon actually thought about debuting as a solo singer, but the company wanted her to be a rapper in MMM, because a group with 4 vocalists are not as diversified. She has great vocals too :) and yes, Hwasa is also an excellent rapper. I haven't seen the other 2 rap but their vocals alone are enough to slay everyone.

@@snzmn yeah but from an article I read, in an interview with AfreecaTV (on Mamamootrans channel) Moon thought about debuting as a singer. Does that imply a vocalist in a group or a soloist 😂 Either way, being a rapper among 3 excellent vocalists hurted her confidence a lot. Now she's really proud and grateful for being able to debut with the group :D She has a chance to let her vocals shine once in a while too

An example can be Tvxq's 5 member line-up, everyone was a good vocalist right from their debut, including their main rapper Mickey Yoochun. Yes, Mamamoo are talented and exceptional in their own way, but it would be wrong to say no other group is

They really have improved over the years. This is not to say that Mamamoo was never talented; they always had that. But if you don’t nurture your talent, then you’re always going to be stuck at a certain standard and level. Mamamoo themselves have said before that they want to be better artists, and this medley has proven that. Compare them from, say, 2015-2016 to this medley right here, and you will notice a DRAMATIC difference. It isn’t just vocals. It is technique and confidence. Mamamoo is a testament of what it means and how to be better and to improve your craft and art. Hard work, dedication, being open-minded, supporting each other, and humility. While I came to the party late (only been a Moomoo for 6 months), I can tell from the past and present times that they prove every time to be amazing artists and people. I cannot wait to see what else they have ready for us and be on this ride with them and the rest of the Moomoos.

I hope no one hates me for this. I think BP has a lot of fans because they were like the new generation of 2ne1 (though they were really different). YG invest a lot for their music videos and PR. THey make catchy songs with repeated verses. BP’s MVs are top notch. As per mamamoo, they are PURE TALENT. I watch every single live performances here on youtube and there’s no single video that they lipsync. Pure talent and such dedication to work. You can really feel the passion on Mamamoo’s veins. No one is lesser or greater than the other one. They are equally freaking talented. I remember Bom’s press conference on her Spring album release. She was asked who are the groups that she’s been watching, she said Blackpink. Well there’s nothing wrong from that since they came from the same agency BUT, i hope she watch Mamamoo- work etiquette, talent, passion, dedication.
