I just purchased the G1 knowing that the power was bad and installed my own 4s power system. I wanted to run a fairly large pack for long flight times. The power I have is incredible on a 12 x 6 ApcE. I can't wait to fly it. It's been awhile since I've owned a biplane. It's going to be a beast. Nice flying btw 👌

I purchased the Mamba 10 on the Black Friday special 2021. Anxiously awaiting shipment. What batteries can the bi-plane handle? What do you recommend? Thanks for the amazing flight video! cheers, Brad

If you bought the G1 Mamba 10 I really loved the 3S 2200 MAH Packs. But if were talking the G2 I recommend the 6S 1500 MAH Packs

@@LaneWalker3D I bought the G1 3S power an intermediate pilot. The rudder is aligned, but when powered up the rudder servo arm is no longer perpendicular; it pivots to the rudder right a full 2”, and the servo are moves about 30’ from perpendicular. Should I wait to maiden until I speak with Horizon Hobby after the thanksgiving weekend?

@@bradfordtownsend9698 set your servo arm as close to 90 degrees from the case As possible with sub trim . Once the arm is 90° from the case then take loose your linkage And lengthen or shorten it until the rudder/elevator or whatever surface you’re adjusting is centered. Horizon won’t have any idea because this is a Flex Innovations airplane. Hope this helps

@@LaneWalker3D Thank you, never adjusted servo before. I have only been flying fixed wings since august. I have been flying a drone or plane every day. Just flying aeroscout, T-28 Trojan and Turbo timber as they came out of box no expo or rate changes. I will check out the rudder servo adjustments: searching the internet. Cheers Brad

Hey lane, will 1800mah will be a good size battery? How dose the g2 fly, seems super floaty and fun.

1800 mah works perfectly but 1500 is recommended for a bit less weight

5-6 minutes depending on how aggressive I am. Just gotta manage how much I use and when I use it .
