This IS Gerard Damon, a famous French singer and he does it better than ALL OTHER past versions! It looks like it was probably made for Les Guignols which is equivalent to our Saturday Night Live. Too bad Itunes doesn't have this version yet. He blows all the other versions out of the water! He has found a style which really suits him compared to his other music. No, I meant who is the singer? Actually, the mambo is a Latin dance originated in Cuba that became very popular in the US in the 50s. That's why it's called mambo Italiano and hence the lyrics to the song.
