hi, Daniel! your style of teaching is wonderful. i have recently bought your online video lesson Digital Portraits in traditional style in Photoshop from Domestika and i am yet to learn the technique. I am a cartoonist with more than one thousand cartoons published in various magazines. i use Krita for my cartoons. now i would like to learn digital painting by using Artrage by watching your tutorials. Thank you very much.

Thanks. As a person totally new to Artrage, these short videos are helpful to get to know the software and what is possible. Since you asked, I would like to find tutorials on how to paint various paintings with the different brushes/pens. Maybe these tutorials are available somewhere, but what I have found it doesn’t go into enough detail. Also, I would like to understand the different blending modes in Artrage 6.

Hey, i love your channel and your videos on ArtRage has helped me a lot. I was wondering which canvas presets are you using as a base for both of them, I can't seem to find them.

One of them is my own custom paper and the other (the smooth one) is the default canvas on PC. I will upload the paper texture for my patreon this week

I love your series on Artrage Fundamentals. I have been working with Artrage for a couple of years but there is so much I don't know. I was wondering how canvas size affects the final result too. I have been workiing large so I could print a finished painting I really liked fairly large if I wanted to but I seem to lose the canvas texture when I do that. What do you recommend for canvas size settings?

Thank you for the kind comment! I do agree that canvas size makes a big difference. I actually prefer the look of the canvas texture when my resolution is really high. I like working at least 4,000 by 4,000 at 300 pixels per inch. I will definitely make a note of the canvas settings and scale of the texture that I use in my next video. Thank you very much for the comment!!! 🙏

When I try to blend the chalk with pallete knife it doesnt blend at all and kinda leaves these white transparent marks?
@DanielIbanez3 жыл бұрын
When the pilot knife creates white transparency that means that whatever pigment is being spread or mixed is getting very thin. It's as if it's getting scraped away. That is a good observation... I will see if there is a work around
