This is not the first of these lovely songs that we have collaborated on with the English translation, and I suspect it will not be the last. Tako sem prevzet spričo teh angelskih glasov, da sploh ne vem, kaj bi zapisal. Na to stran sem prijadral zaradi simpatične Ani Frece, sedaj pa vidim, da so ob njej še trije prelestni slavčki, ki pojo tako, da pobožajo še tako grobo in vase zaprto dušo in iz nje naredijo eno samo dobroto. Pa da sem dobil direkt rosne oči. Vse, kar imam sedaj v glavi, je poiskati vse, kar je možno od teh vsestranskih lepotic in pozorno prisluhniti vsaki harmoniji, vsaki polifoniji in milini, ki me bo nocoj pospremila v sen...

Sem Branko Zupanc in sem avtor besedila MAMINA RUTA. Besedilo sem napisal za ansambel Braneta Klavžarja leta 1998. Brane Klavžar je besedilo tudi uglasbil. To je resnična izpoved v besedilo. Takšno ruto je imela moja stara mati, po njeni smrti pa jo je imela moja mati, obešeno na klinu na verandi.
