Agreed. Everyone keeps getting mad at me for saying that Ariana is not a good fit for glinda vocally or acting wise, but its true that Dove could act and sing Glinda better. Dove has better musical theatre technique at this stage than Ariana does, because Ari has been doing pop and r&b too long now. Besides I like a more crisp sound for musical theatre. I am so sad Dove isn't Glinda.

Only a few places limit minor script changes (like broadway) bc many actors have different takes on the same characger. It's still a professional production, this one was specifically the Hollywood Bowl production.
