Great video, man! I've been lucky to play lots of really great courses around the country, and I'm not sure I've ever had more fun than I have at Mammoth Dunes. I've played it twice (once in crummy weather, once in perfect weather), and every time I think about this course, it moves farther up my "Top 10". It also doesn't hurt that I had my best round ever there last September (78, with three birdies on the back 9). I can't wait to play it again. Keep up the good work with the vlogs!

It's a smart course design. Looks incredible, but is very playable with wide fairways, greens than funnel the ball towards the hole. I had the same reaction. Had tons of fun. Played a great round and now I want to go back. I hope this is a trend in golf course design with playability and enjoyment being the focus. Mammoth will never host a major PGA event, but it was designed for the 99% of regular amateur players, rather than the elite plus handicaps or tour pros. If I had to pick a trip to Kohler or Sand Valley, I would more often choose Sand Valley. I'm excited they are building a 3rd course and will have access to a 4th semi private Lido Club in the next few years.
