Favorite princess is very hard to pick one! I grew up in the era of Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine, so they will always be special to me! But I married a Filipino, so my kids are as I named them “half-ipino” and do not look white like me, they look Asian like their dad. I never as a white person would have realized how important it was to people to have princesses that look like themselves until my daughter saw Raya. She was so happy to have a princess that looks like her and I truly learned the importance. She did already like Mulan because she is Asian, but she is Chinese which looks nothing like my daughter. Raya looks like her! She now dreams of someday getting to “be Raya’s friend “ in the parks and share in the joy of making other southeast Asian children feel special and a part of the princess magic 🪄👸🏻 Also very excited there will be a Latina princess thanks for sharing! 🧡

I was waiting for this one! My daughter was picked to be Beast our time at Enchanted Tales and it was one of the most magical moments I’ve ever had at Disney. Watching her dance with Belle at the end was incredible. I always recommend this to everyone!

We went to Disney when my daughter was 7, and she still talks about her interaction with Merida being her favorite thing about Disney. We were walking by her meet and greet location, which was not quite open yet, and could see her through a crack in the wall surrounding it. Merida kept peeking through and made silly faces at my daughter while we waited for the entrance to open

Molly, you are so amazing. No matter how often you go to WDW, you still find the magic, and emotion that makes Disney Parks special. My favorite Princess has always been Snow White. When as two adults we ate at Storybook dining with Snow White back in November, Princess Snow told me how every morning Doc and her went to pick apples. I asked what Dopey did, she said he picks up the rocks around the tree and puts them in his pocket. I love interacting with the characters. I also cry every time I see Tink fly. The live action Little Mermaid is Caribbean-inspired, but if you're referring to the animated film, the animators pulled influences from the Mediterranean. Eric's kingdom has many Mediterranean influences while not being named in any particular Mediterranean country. It was either in the film or the series too where Sebastian mentions or alludes to his home is the Caribbean so it's more like Sebastian is an expat.

Sure you can go over to Enchanted Tales, but you only SEE her and can’t hug her/interact unless you get picked to be in the show. With Aukerhous you can! Great video! Have SOOOO many amazing memories our daughter when she was little meeting the princesses. So many magical moments. One time we were walking thru Adventureland and we must have called our daughter's name as Jasmine was nearby getting ready for her meet and greet She stopped and talked with my daughter and said "Oh, Princess Katie. So nice to see you!" Those moments are why we come back year after year. We have dozens of these magical experiences to look back on. Thanks, Molly for this video. Merida was one of my favorite meet and greets that I've done recently. My daughter is a little curly red head like Merida and she was so cute with my daughter. I loved how she got down to her level and even followed her when she went to look at the other parts of the set. I'm excited to see Maribel soon but really liked Merida's area. Favorite Disney Princess? That’s a hard one! Old school I would say Ariel cuz the Little Mermaid came out the year I was born and I’ve always loved mermaids so yeah. New school I would say a toss up between Merida and Rapunzel. Very hard to choose because I love all of them! And I’m so happy for you that you got to see them all in one day! I think that fireworks show is really special in person versus just watching on YT and I hope to see how much it is when we eventually go ourselves! I work at a small Christian school and our principal was my principal growing up at a nearby Christian school and he starts every morning with the students doing pledges and prayer. They repeat the prayer after him and everyday it says “help us to work hard and to be kind”. It really would be a different world if people just took those words to heart. ❤🙏❤

When I was little, it was Sleeping Beauty but after having a daughter, it’s Merida. She was at the perfect age when Brave came out. She had the best costume, red wig and all. On a trip to Disney when she was about 9, she wore her full get up and little girls would ask her for an autograph. Molly - please take up the campaign to get Merida more visability and her meet and greet back. I am broken-hearted that they took it away in Magic the Kingdom. The wait for her has always been long the two times I have traveled across the country to Magic Kingdom in the last few years. Disney has also not incuded her in much of the Princess merchandise (there wasn't a Merida doll on the shelf in this video). You have power - you can do it! Get Merida into the England pavillion in EPCOT.
