The thing that really sets Molly apart is her expertise, but yet she comes across as a friend rather than a tour guide. I often wonder how many hours she spends behind the scenes studying for these videos. Awesome work as always Molly! 🌹

You know what I wish? I’m in a wheelchair and there are very few “rides” I can do in AK. I wish they would create an alternate experience of rides like Flight of Passage where I could go in some sort of virtual reality booth in my wheelchair and experience the visuals of the ride without actually having to ride it. Same thing with Soarin’ or other attractions that rely heavily on video as part of the experience. I love the restaurant in the Avatar land (those bowls are the bomb) but other than that, I feel like the only things I can do in that section of the park are walk around and spend money on stuff I don’t need. Come on, Disney… I spend money to get in your parks just like everyone else. I should be able to experience more of it than I currently can.
@percythemighty

Absolutely agree. Animal Kingdom is definitely the least accessible park. This is the case even for people who are not in wheelchairs, but even for people with certain medical conditions. Just as an anecdote, I visited while pregnant and spent the entire day sitting on benches while my husband and daughter went on rides because there was nothing “safe” for me to do (this was pre-Pandora). Still paid full price for my ticket, though! I am not comparing this to your experience, of course, but just using it to illustrate the deficiencies. Would love to see Disney spend more energy making attractions that are safe for EVERYONE. There are plenty of theme parks that are prohibitive out there, the entire idea behind Disney was an experience that the whole family could enjoy together… it would be really awesome if the executives making decisions could actually remember that.

Used Genie + for the first time at Animal Kingdom this past summer and it was the best experience. Barely any wait times and we hopped on every ride and attraction so fast and easy. We did Kilimanjaro Safari first thing in the morning and we saw so many animals...always try to do this ride in the morning because as Molly said, it's when the animals are most active.

Hi Molly! Love your new channel! You have recommended many times that the best way to ride the fancy rides if you don't want to purchase them is to rope drop or ride right before close. I'd love to see you do some science & actually compare the wait times of rope dropping the fancy rides at each park as a non-resort guest vs the wait times of riding right before park close. Even do some of the really popular genie + rides such as Slinky Dog Dash. Keep up the awesome work Mammoth Club!

Love your new channel!! Thank you for investing so much of yourself in this new platform. Given your vast knowledge and love for all things Disney, I would love to see a "Legends of Disney" series. Starting with non other than Joe Rohde, that could include his background and his connection to Disney. Follow his career and contribution to the various parks and specific attractions. Each month (or more often) feature another "legend" that could include each of the Nine Old Men. Mary Blair is another legendary iconic figure. So many amazing people to choose from!! Another series could be a brief segment (maybe 10-15 minutes) featuring information on Walt Disney himself. He has given the world so much and was definitely a man ahead of his time and sadly gone too soon. Just some thoughts and ideas that came to mind. Thank you so much for everything you do to inform, educate and help make the Disney experience a positive one. Have a blessed day.

Hey Molly, fun fact, the Deinonychus skull they have there is the actual Raptor species that Jurassic park's Velociraptor was visually based on. Being much larger than the Velociraptor, they thought it was a better dinosaur to go with, but they preferred the sound of the name Velociraptor. So they called the Deinonychuses, Velociraptors. So that's another fun call-out to Universal.

Such a great video! From Wikipedia: 😅😂🤣 “Throughout its history, Antarctica has seen a wide variety of plant life. In the Cretaceous, it was dominated by a fern-conifer ecosystem, which changed into a temperate rainforest by the end of that period. During the colder Neogene (17-2.5 Ma), a tundra ecosystem replaced the rainforests. The climate of present-day Antarctica does not allow extensive vegetation to form.[125] A combination of freezing temperatures, poor soil quality, and a lack of moisture and sunlight inhibit plant growth, causing low species diversity and limited distribution. The flora largely consists of bryophytes (25 species of liverworts and 100 species of mosses). There are three species of flowering plants, all of which are found in the Antarctic Peninsula: Deschampsia antarctica (Antarctic hair grass), Colobanthus quitensis (Antarctic pearlwort) and the non-native Poa annua (annual bluegrass).[126]”

Hey, Molly! The facts and history on this video are , as always, fascinating! Love this channel and what you, Alan and Max bring to it! If you all ever do resort videos, one I’m very curious about is Fort Wilderness! Is there still a campground? What is allowed in terms of RV/campers? No one seems to talk about that. The cabins are fantastic; but it seems there also was (is?) a campground. Thank you for all you do, and for being you!

I’ve ridden Everest many time both with and without the working Yeti and people make much too big of a deal about the lack of movement. The interaction with the animatronic is literally 2 seconds. Not having it move does not take away from the attraction in any meaningful way. It really seems like people want excuses to be upset.

I remember that you once were stuck in Pandora and one of the questions was what do the mountain banshee eat? You pointed out that there was a food source under the floating islands. I have not seen anyone bring them up. Are they still there or was that a trick question from your producer? Personally I think that they should have ride test vehicles at all the rides to check fit. I cannot bend my left knee enough to ride splash mountain, but only found out after waiting in line. We switched to your new channel as soon as I saw it come up. Great work!!!

It's official, Molly's encyclopedic knowledge rules supreme. What sets her apart from other vlogs is it never seems patronizing, more like a friend sharing info, rather than a university lecture. I remember little red, but thankfully not big red. yikes. Totally agree with her on the Avatar theory, Pandora is stunning but its such an unusual choice for a land. It's interesting the Festival of the Lion King doesn't tell the story of the film, its the same in Rhythm of the Pridelands in Disneyland Paris. just a celebration of the music with amazing acrobatic performances. Thanks for the vlog it was "WILD"

Avatar has to be the least family-friendly movie to base a Disney IP land on…it’s WAY too long, too much exposition and very adult language and themes. I first went to Disney World when I was 4 and I have ALWAYS remembered something weird happening with the elephant storyline and then having the feeling of being scared on a certain part of the Safari ride. I raise and train standard poodle service dogs for disabilities such as autism, OCD, PTSD, and mobility issues and our biggest boy is a cream poodle named Yeti. His AKC name is Harold of the Matterhorn, since Disneyland is my home park where we’ve trained the 8+we’ve raised. When we visit AK I can never get enough of Expedition Everest. If you ever want to see how Service dogs do in the Disney parks we would love to have our dogs show you! We can always use volunteers to help train and work a dog for a day including joining us on rides or helping with the trained tasks they’ve learned. 🐩🐩🐩

A dead mom elephant is very much on brand for Disney... killing a parent of a main character (especially animals) to add a little trauma is their thing.

Your face on flight of passage is mine every time. I love the smell of that ride and it make me smile every time. I totally agree it’s a relaxing thrill ride! Thanks for all the facts and great video!

My favorite scene in Dinosaur is the final one where they find the valley. SO YEAH SOME PEOPLE DO LOVE DINOSAUR MOLLY! lol

Love how they build such a detailed back story for everything and very few people even know it. I was there last week and did my AK reservation day then hopped back in on another day just to watch FoTLK and Nemo a second time. I pulled a Molly and cried at FoTLK when the tumble monkeys came out. It was the first time I had seen the show since they were back.

I am that person. I could watch the 3 hour version of avatar back to back. Even if u don't really care for the movie the advancement in filming technology it made should be noted

I challenge your favorite pre-show. Dinosaur is good, but Cosmic Rewind is now the reigning champion.

Molly: I'm moving slow because of this large, weird bird. Also Molly: Kevin! You're so cute! 🤣

Well, my son was very offended about Avatar not being anybody's favorite movie. He LOVES it. So now you know there is an 11 year old out there who is in fact a superfan! 🤣🤣 We LOVE your videos! Keep up the great work.

I've enjoyed watching Molly's videos for years now. Very happy for y'all starting your own channel. Avatar movie also copies "Dances with Wolves" . I don't think Avatar is anyone's favorite film, from what i hear we're going to be getting a few more sequels to try and persuade our opinions.
