This video made me incredibly thrilled for Super Nintendo World (like I wasn't already haha)! My husband and I both grew up with a lot of Nintendo games, and it is amazing to see them come to life like this. The color and kinetic energy in this land is amazing!! I just loved seeing so many aspects of it, from the food and merch to the attraction and the game-ification of the land! It brought me so much joy to see y'all so genuinely excited about this land! It’s a little tight. They’ll be utilizing a virtual reservation system where you can book a time slot once in the park.

@@CarolCap131 Everyone is provided a colored wristband based on their reservation time. I had a green one for the 1pm-3pm time this past Tuesday. Employees will politely inform you that “they’re no longer servicing your wristband time” if you remain in the land past your time and/or attempt to go on the ride, play the games, or enter the restaurant.

I’m a passholder to Universal Hollywood. Haven’t gone to Nintendo World yet with a reservation. Will be going sometime after it’s open to the public. But, MAN does Nintendo World look incredibly UNDERWHELMING, and I’m a die hard Nintendo fan! I’m in my 30s, I grew up on the old Nintendo, I still play the Switch. Love Mario Odyssey. Yup! It’s official: Universal Hollywood SUUUUUCKS!!!! Too small, not enough attractions, almost all motion simulators, and the Mario Kart ride looks disappointing.

If you like Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, then you will like Mario Kart even more. Rainbow Road is trippy with the AR Visor! The Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown fighting is fun, like Kinect on steroids. Coin hunting is a real grind though…

Super Nintendo World doesn't feel like an accurate name for this part of the park... Seems like there should be more to it with that name, as it's clearly themed entirely around the Mario IP. Don't get me wrong, I love Mario games, they're iconic for a reason. However, Nintendo has _so many_ awesome, beloved IPs. I would love to see them expand the "world" with Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong areas, perhaps Metroid.

In Japan, the Donkey Kong expansion is already under way and it's rumored to be coming to Hollywood soon-ish (and it will open with Epic Universe in Florida)

I chatted with a project member who helped build SNW. No plans for Donkey Kong Country in Hollywood, because there is no room. They would have to remove Transformers and Mummy, but those rides still have several years of life remaining. Maybe in 2030’s when those IPs are no longer relevant, there will be a SNW Hollywood expansion.

As of a couple days ago the banana cones now have their brown tops. They should always be there because I think the water is from the fog machine above the door for the Thwomp! Something I think that Disney is missing is the "Entering A New World" moment that Universal has. For example, here you enter a Warp Pipe to enter the land. In Harry Potter you go through the Brick Wall as you enter the land. I think Disney needs to think much harder about this idea. They really missed out on having something like this for Black Spire for Star Wars. Great video Mam Crew! Thanks for the intro to this amazing new land.

We went on a weekend… (not a week day or an « influencers » private day) and this tiny small overcrowded land is horrible. It should be an individual 1h paid « garden » visit to be really enjoyable. I wish we could have saved our money for something else even if we love the Mario IP. I will never spend my money again on an opening month attraction, especially when this attraction is a « ratatouille » class/level style. We will wait to see the conditions to be able to visit Orlando one, like how crowds level will be managed and if special limited events will be organized.
