😂 The fact that I could hear Yootha’s “George” as clearly as if she’d spoken it herself! 👍

Very good 😂 The random canned laughter was the icing on the cake.

I didn't think it was possible to top the cheese on the opening titles to this show, but you did it again!! GEORGE!!!! 🤣

In North America this known as “Three’s Company” and the innuendos were greatly sanitised. I did notice a reference to our version in the final musical lick. ❤️🇨🇦 love ya!

I'd forgotten about that series. Wow, now I remember it well. I think we watched it a couple of times back in the day. Seriously you guys are the best!

This is brilliant. I always used to think the opening sequence of the show was way too long and once you'd seen episode one, that was it for the series. Loved Yootha btw. X

Loved Man About The House plus its spin offs Robins Nest and George and Mildred. Yootha was great as Mildred. ❤️🤣

I always thought Mildred KNEW that Robin wasn't gay as the two girls claimed but went along with it just to keep George in the dark.

Naturally, I don't know the UK show but I thinks it's our version of Threes company?! Well done! Yootha is breathtaking in red and Jamie..that's the first time I recall seeing you in falsies (er, teeth, Darls)..more please!😂❤

Yep - the show became Threes Company in the USA - which I think had an even cheesier theme tune!

Completely brilliant. Easy to mock now but it was reasonably ground breaking in its day in showing both men and women living together, as indeed Robin's Nest was also to be in showing the first cohabiting unmarried couple in a UK sitcom. Yootha Joyce and Brian Murphy were both alumni of Joan Littlewood and Stratford East. Their spin off vehicle, George and Mildred, was equally excellent on middle class aspiration, Richard O'Sullivan was a very watchable actor, but arguably he was just a little overexposed in 70s sitcoms. He was the right "type" for his era; slim, funny, vaguely Byronic, and comfortable in his masculinity and being playful with it. Then suddenly it was the 80s, he was just a little bloke with short hair and that seemed to be it somehow.

Alan is a BIG fan of Joan Littlewood and her work ... and of course he is a huge Yootha fan too. We actually love M.A.T.H - everything we 'mock' is done with a huge amount of love and respect. Sally Thomsett has seen this and given it her blessing.

Never really liked this show, Yootha Joyce was the only reason I watched it, and Brian Murphy too of course. This is hilarious!!! She would have loved this parody.
