(Who am I without you O Teacher)
The poem Man Ana Laulakum was created by Al-Imam Umar Muhdhor Bin Abdurrahman Assegaf who was born and grew up in the city of Tarim.
This song is already very well known in various circles, from teenagers to adults, many of whom are familiar with this song.
The lyrics are very deep in meaning ... because of the love of the student for his teacher to the point that he is willing to risk his life for the teacher. Maybe not many have been able to reach that maqom, but it would be nice if we could emulate these lyrics so that we can always respect and glorify teachers because teachers' services are very large and affect our lives in this world and the hereafter.
Who are we without a teacher ... who teaches us to read and write, the Koran, count and many other things. Teachers are not only those at school, but even at home like our parents who have taught us a lot, are teachers that we should honor.
