I almost totally agree with your statement.For Profit golf courses are the scourge of the rank and file players. I would never pay the green fees at places like Pebble Beach or Amelia Island. The very few times I get to play are on public courses and the "green fees" are like $99 unless you are a club member

There are a lot of ways you could be disrespectful or rude on the golf course. One would be if you hit into another group with your driver in the Fairway or irons on the green. Another would be trying to make them hurry. Another would be trying to play through their group if they don't want you to that could create an argument. One could be that you're playing way too slow and holding up everybody!
