I'm a woman and i use the "assassin" (death dealer tactical) sling bag, purses suck imo. I love that it sits like a backpack while being able to access anything swiftly. I don't care that I get funny looks, the sling bag rocks! I tend to carry alot more than other people because i need things like meds and monthly hygiene stuff.

Thanks Bernie! Daggnabbedit, us men need to carry mess too! I found something similar made of REAL leather. Soft, easy to get to, I love it.

It's actually a really nice looking bag. Some I've seen don't look as masculine as that one. I'd definitely get one for my husband.

If you liked the concept of the fanny bag but not that implementation, you really should try a Mountainsmith lumbar pack, either the Tour or the Day. Big enough to hold everything you showed and then some. The Day can even hold a laptop in a pinch. The delta compression straps make it very stable on the hips, even on active hikes. You also forgot one item that's nice on cool outings and essential on warmer days: a water bottle. The MS lumbar packs have side pockets that hold water bottles or other stuff (like your camera) for quick access that you can reach without even having to pull the pack around to the front, which actually isn't difficult either. Google Mountainsmith lumbar pack and you'll find that most MS owners swear by their packs.

I found a small shooting bag at Walmart marked down that is my EDC/carry all bag, but my wife keep saying it's my Murse =man purse. I like it and it works for me.

That's great. I (Bernie) have already changed my EDC bag from the one in this video (as indicated as a possibility). We'll likely do an update video in the future. Thanks for watching, commenting, and subscribing. :)

Husband had back issues and does a backpack. It helps with everything from camera and dog treats. All the pockets help with items he needs to carry even his battery he needs for his back.

If a satchel is good enough for Indiana Jones, it's good enough for me. Who cares what others may think for sporting a man-bag. Like you, I'd rather dump all my gear -- headphones, wallet, phones, chargers, et cetera -- in a bag than wear cargo shorts or pants, which I don't have any anyway. I hate putting things in my pant pockets.

You nailed it, Jeremy. I'm now using two different bags - rather tactical in appearance - that have been serving me well. I do plan to eventually post about them and their contents. Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, and subscribing. It's appreciated.

Well thought video. Shows the bag in actual use. 👍 That's similar to my man bag it's vertical which makes it not look like women's bag.

There are some similar bags made by PacSafe which have stainless mesh and cables embedded throughout the bag to help keep your stuff with you. The material and straps can't be easily cut. Very useful when out and about...

Yes, we've also been familiar with those 'security' bags for years. They're a little outside of my (Bernie's) intention: using a very inexpensive option for minor excursions. They certainly have their place. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)

I might be too late, but check out the "kato" bag from hazard 4. Its similar to this, but with the organization you want, i use it everyday and it even has an ipad pocket, and for longer trips check out the watson sling, they are my edc go to.

That maxpedition is built for hard use items and weight. Guns, ammo, knives, gloves, flashlights, etc...
@Wildonthego7 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's for sure. There's a fine line between durability and flexibility (in fabric but also in motion and stealth). A bag made from gauze would be as absurd as one made from iron. Even those who often crawl on the ground in rough terrain, appreciate some "give" and light-flexibility. It's a good thing there are many bags/packs from which to choose - to fit the given task. Maxpedition certainly makes long-lasting products: amzn.to/2gmkhld Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing. There will be an update-video on the "man [edc] bag" soon.

The featured bag was from the Mesa Market Place in Mesa, AZ. Here's a link to a slightly smaller version of the bag: amzn.to/2hwx2Jp If you search for it (using keywords Western Pack Utility Bag), you might find it online. We plan to feature another (different) pack with more detailed information in the coming weeks. Thanks for watching and commenting. Please have a look at some of our other videos.

My favorite is my travel vest made by Scottevest.com ,it has 27 pockets, will hold anything you can possibly think of, it is a tiny bit warm in hot weather but it allows you to completely distribute the weight around your shoulder area. I used my to take a trip to China. This vest and a day pack on a two week trip around the country. I absolutely love the vest, looking at it nobody knows you may have 1000's in equipment in it. Cant recommend it enough. They are expensive but I have seen testimonials from people that ripped theirs up and mailed back to Scottvest and got a free repair or replacement.
@Wildonthego7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, we've known about their vests and other clothing options for many years. As you've indicated, not all of them are a good fit for summer. For me (Bernie), it's about carrying the least amount of things that I can get by with in a manner that is comfortable and sustainable over time for me. In short, it has to be an option that I will actually use. I have an array of packs and bags, each has its place but most rarely get used. The utility pouch in this video and a small backpack will be my go-to options for urban type excursions. Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
