I live in UK and the new builds are ridiculous the house I grew up in was an old Victorian home with pretty high ceilings they bought it for 90k in the 80s, now in my home town a 1 bed hamster cage in a high rise with a 2 foot square balcony is £500,000 😂

The best time in my life was when i had my own room/space to build miniatures and work on dollhouses. My grandmother won blue ribbons for her miniatures back before you could look up info on the internet and learn. All self taught. I absolutely love this video.

I love it! I'm a woodworker that built a few post and beam scale models for our company when we set up at home shows so I had to build a small lumber yard before building the post and beam barns. I appreciate the craft of miniature.

No one has used a "cinder block" in 70 years. For a house, you'd use a standard concrete masonry unit. Cinder was used as a lightweight aggregate 100 years ago for lightweight concrete masonry, but now modern aggregates that are stronger and lighter are used.

My dad was a brick mason which led me to have 20 years of my life doing it too, so that part would be pretty easy fy me, and MUCH lighter than the real thing, lol. My question is why are you mixing the mortar and using it as a stucco to color your joints? Why not dye the mortar mix you're laying the brick with? Does the dye take away some of the bonding elements from the type mortar that you are using? I'm not intending to be a smart aleck, im genuinely curious.

The cool thing about videos, editing, and movie magic is that not everything has to be done all at once. But you can edit the video to make everything seem like it was done all at once. So for those of you who say you don't have time, why don't you make time for those things instead of just watching videos on KZbin? You can start building something for even just 5-10 minutes throughout the day. Add more time if you have more to spare. You also don't have to do it every single day. I'm working on a miniature build, but the kit is from amazon. I started a month ago. I haven't finished it yet, but I can come back to it. Same goes for this
