After a bit of a heavy week of filming and reviewing, I made a shorter video this time round and filmed the food segment post match rather than pre match, I will probably go to the quarter house again before the Watford game (that's not 100%). A couple of big matches to come after this, I hope City are up to speed for the visits of Inter and Arsenal after a pretty iffy first half performance against a Brentford side , which as usual were on form at the Etihad and played well. Really wanted Erling to get his hat trick of hat tricks but with the post denying him and a couple of good saves it wasn't to be. Brentford played well and Frank's a good tactician so we'll take the three points and move on. I think the midfield were caught out with the pace of the game and if I'm allowed one criticism it's that Gundogan, DeBruyne and Kovatic are all over 30 now and maybe pace isnt an asset our midfield possessed. We desperately needed some pace injected into the game and although Savinho is no slouch the somewhat ponderous runs from Jack didn't help the team to catch out Brentford's high press. The long balls from Ederson to Erling were a delight to watch and helped City beat the press and with four assists to his name now he'll surely beat Paul Robinson's record of five Premier league assists. Well done Mutton on another very enjoyable vlog and as always look forward to the next one. Come on City 🩵🍻
