Ramsdale against united was shakey with his lankey legs and he used to make me nervous in the defence moments but raya I was calm and relax making tea, boys would've have doen the job had the referee not given a second yellow to trossard which in my opinion was 2nd yellow but last year same ref didn't give kovacic red card to not ruin the game.

Both Arsenal goals were borderline legal/illegal, though. Oliver restarts the game too early on 1-1, after asking City's right back to come all the way to him. That is why Martinelli gets that pass. 2-1 was, according to the rulebook, not a legal keeper block, according to many, including former PL refs.

I'm so gutted as we were seconds away from pulling it off. But at the same time I'm proud of the performance we put in. At half time I feared the worst but the closer we got to 90 minutes the more I began to believe. Alas it wasn't meant to be. Overall I think we can be pretty happy with the start to the season. Having lost key players, having a difficult run of games and being down to 10 men for 45 minutes twice and not losing either of those games. We should have some easier games now so hopefully we can relax a bit.

Arsenal switched off for that last corner, but tiredness crept in after playing away vs Atalanta on Thursday, whilst City played a day before with more rest. 3 games for them at home in a row, Arsenal played 3 away.
