No surprise that City won this one TBH. Can't expect Emery's system/style to be up and running after a month or two of training, especially against a 3rd season Pep team (no matter the personnel they were missing). Cech can't continue in this system while he's out there trying to score own goals; Guendozi needs way more time to settle if he's going to be that link from defence to mid, and the attack looked lazy despite generating opportunities once Lacazette entered.

Logic that is utter rubbush City never dominated. The first 20 minutes in 1st Half City seemed on top when sterling scored. But got nervous 2nd half and timewasted, till Bernardo Silva got you out of jail. City were nervous and had Arsenal been more clinical that game could have easily finished 2-2, players like Ozil, Aubamyang and Lacazette were not sharp enough to punish Ederson for his mistakes.

mrloverman Shabba if you watched the match..First 20 minutes upon Sterling scoring they looked sharp, after this period Arsenal settled. 2nd Half Arsenal started with more purpose, City got edgy up until the scored to make it 2-0, at this point the game got flat. The period before the 2nd goal City panicked and timewasted, realising Arsenal were well on top. I saw enough overall to know a better more sharper team would have punished City's mistakes and that we were a much better Unit, under Emery.

I feel the criticism towards arsenal is harsh, I might be a tad biased but if I look at it in as neutral point as possible arsenal didn't have they're best game but they did make some changes but were sloppy in the final third and a few shaky moments in defence but we didn't make it easy for city, compared to last season were I felt we had nothing to offer but we looked at times like we might of at least got a goal, I think give Emery time and we could see a good side but it's hard to truly judge when playing a side like city but can definitely see some room for improvement
