There really needs to be a massive standing section in the New North Stand Extension. Nothing could beat the noise generated by the old Kippax Terraces at Maine Road but if the stadium wants more noise / singing to add to the match day atmosphere they have to get a big block of ‘The noisy neighbours’. I agree it needs to be one huge area to concentrate the noise. The South Stand are brilliant and a large gathering at the other end would be terrific to have two loud / noisy sections. It’s a great chance to help generate a really noisy ground.

You still need loud fans next to the away end and having the away fans in close proximity often creates the atmosphere. Hard to imagine people would be as motivated to sing from the opposite end of the stadium when even now it’s only very sporadic and only loud if you’re actually in the middle of it all. They should name the stand too with a nod to the club’s history so it becomes a more inherent part of club folklore. Most major clubs have a stand that everyone knows, so needs to be less generic than “North Stand.”

I always find these concerns from match-going fans interesting, Cheesy. Love the way European soccer supporters do so much to try and curate/protect the long-time supporter experience. Good show!

us 50 year olds were loud as hell in the kippax watching utter crap but sadly our voices are week now its down to the young to get the atmosphere going like we did in the 80s and 90s they should be bang at it watching this brilliant team

The pricing for standing areas needs to be realistic to get the younger fans in. How families can afford to matches these days beats me! My season ticket for The Kippax used to cost £40 😳

The development of the Etihad Stadium has been extraordinarily positive and here at City we have the best owners in the world. Atmosphere is down to what happens on the pitch and long standing fans like me trust the club to do a fantastic job. It's great to be a blue!!

I truly hope that these groups suggest or demand to the Club...that there be more than one entry & exit point in each third/quarter of the top tier...where there's only one in each third/quarter of the South Stand top tier. Surely to God it makes sense for movement of fans in & out??!

There is not going to be atmospheric North Stand. I know that because there isn't one in the South Stand. I have been going all my life and the City fans I see every home game are exactly the same types I saw all those years ago. People talk about corporates and tourists but that's a fringe effect and only really evident on a Champions League night. Of course I want the fans to sing and be loud but this has got nothing to do with rail seats or configurations etc. See the Anfield Kop. Quiet. Just like City unless it's a big game and they are winning.

I am proud that CITY do offer some of the best prices in the Premiership but charging for disability parking and playing at home in a white kit … 😳🙄 … those making these sort of decisions are out of their depth and need to seek other employment

Simple, cheaper seats,1 large uninterrupted singing section with no cooperate ,family stand and hospitality moved to the sides

World glass on the pitch atrocious off it from city’s customer service to pricing the long time fans out of the game it’s hard to say but we’ve turned into everything we used to laugh about that lot over the rd.

I don't like white shirt for any home games. I also don't like the white shorts. I personally prefer the sky blue shorts with the sky blue shirt and also sky blue socks. If the club wanted an all white away uniform with white shorts and socks with sky blue side stripes on the shorts for an away or 3rd kit.

Have to keep pace with the other Mcr team in expansion. Players are fantastic but they move on, concrete stays and doesn't count for FFP.

As the club has gotten bigger It's just pushed out his normal funds people like me I am 54 I can't afford the prices anymore they're more interested in profits than bums on seats for example the tunnel club is the most expensive thing ever This is not for normal fans Yes a club has to grow but it's push his own loyal fans out we've gone extortionate with the prices with our home shirts and with the prices to go to games If you look around these days it is not funds from Manchester Yes we're a global club now but you look around and you don't see any people hardly who went to maine road I myself can no longer afford to go It doesn't matter about the extensions because we will feel it but not with funds from the UK If you look on a champions League night it is full of Germans Asians from China or foreign nationals true funds never really get to go anymore The prices are ridiculous everything is geared towards the tourist so it doesn't matter if we extend or not most loyal fans cannot go to the game because season ticket holders can buy his money tickets as they want and then they sell them they seek dearer prices I live across the road from city I see this happen all the time If it's a big game there is no way a fun like me can get a ticket ever not even with the extension
