It may be tough to see Ederson go to another PL team, but I think it may be worth it to see him go. I think there are better options out there, like Laimer, Reijnders, Barrios, even Milambo considering age and price. Ederson plays a ton of minutes and doesn't get inured, but I think you get better attacking or defensive options from the other players listed above. I would love to bring Ederson in in conjunction with another of those players, perhaps Milambo sensibly, but on his own, I don't think he outshines the alternatives. His stats are subpar comparatively, and his playstyle makes me think he's due to take a few knocks. While I prefer Laimer to Ederson, his injuries and wage would require careful contract structure to account for playing time and performance incentives.

@@MichaelEnright-gk6yc DeGea is gone. Onana has greatly improved compare to his first season. DeGea made so many mistake at the start and the end of his United carrier. I remember people like this where calling for his head back then. One thing I admire alot about Onana is his confidence and the ability to always bounce back. He has a very strong mentality unlike others that will directly freeze out under any kind of pressure. He has reach the semi final of champion league with Ajax and the final with inter with the most clean sheet and outstanding performance. He is a good Goalkeeper and I have no doubt about that. The new coach need to get a starting backline and I believe once that is done then the will be good understanding between the defense and the Goalkeeper. For now we will still be seeing some mistakes until the defense line is fully sorted.

Ederson would be a perfect addition for Amorim. He can play 6/8 and I believe he can play 10 also as a high presser like mount. High energy, extremely hard working, good defensively and he is suited to EPL football. Ederson, Ugarte and Mount in your midfield. That is a lot of energy.
