If you're just some weird guy who is "bad with money" you would have blown it on Amazon or even giving everyone drinks at the local bar by now. Even on tiktok, if you go to very popular tiktok lives, people will be constantly sending gifts, some of which can be worth up to around $500. It is very believable that someone who frequently engages in this activity could unwittingly spend thousands upon thousands of dollars.

The adulation they get from chat, seeing their username repeated as a solid block of text as the chat bot lists their subscriptions, the hype from the streamer, it's all a very convincing counterfeit for human connection...until the high wears off and you realize the loneliness never went away. It reminds me of alcoholics I knew who would buy friends by paying for the next round in a bar, only it's more distant.
