Same here, although sometimes she would use those stick on tags so the names didn’t get lost in the wrapping paper design. I was wondering if younger people seeing this would think it was strange that his name was just written on the wrapping paper like that. It really was a simpler time in so many ways.

My mom (45) and I (24) have always used stick on tags. I know kids tear into it so what we've always done is get our wrapping paper and stick on tags from Dollar Tree. Actually really high quality stuff, believe it or not. If you get ribbon to tie around the present it's a little less high quality and it's pretty short but I think it's good enough. So far it's been so convincing that my 11 year old sister still strongly believes in Santa! :D
