This really hit home for me. My biological dad got my mom pregnant and he denied that I was his: Until mom and grandparents took him to court and he kept saying my mom slept around and the judge took my mom's side after my biological dad took a DNA test in the court room proving i was his daughter it came back 100% that he was indeed my biological dad, Him and his family chose not to be in my life and my grandparents took full responsibility for me and my mom.

This is why paternity test should be mandatory right after the baby's born. So, misunderstandings don't happen. when you jump to conclusion like that. it can ruin your life. His life did not cheat on him. He's just that the baby had a chimera. which means two different patches of different skin tones. You never want to jump to the worst-case scenario. Sometimes it hits home for some people. Sometimes the father denies that the child is his name. Thank all the worst-case scenarios. Who did you sleep with? Who did you mess around with? But sometimes they don't want to be in the child's life. because they still think bad things. What David did. jumping to conclusions. Cost him his marriage.

And a paternity test would work unless there surrogacy involved then you’d have to explain why the test came back negative… just saying not trying to step on your toes..

I think it's because he showed up 2 years later. In some stories they leave it for us to use our imagination. So for me, when his Mother went with the Lady (sorry I forgot her name already lmao Main Character) to get DNA test, that was 2 years ago. I imagine his Mom told him since then, but atp in time he has made up his mind that he didn't want to get involved and in recent times had a change of heart to be in his son's life.
