excellent direction and narration, there are many other reasons why tigers could become man-eaters other than what you stated - a scarcity of its primary prey base, 1. the tiger has become old where it's too slow to catch its usual prey or has broken teeth where it can't asphyxiate its prey or has problems chewing meat off of prey, 2. the tiger has become wounded due to some accidental circumstance making it unable to catch its primary prey, 3. the tiger has tasted human blood due to a human accidentally confronting the tiger in the wild where the tiger attacks the human by instinct due to surprise factor

I would suggest everyone to read the book 'The Man Eaters of Kumaon' written by Jim Corbett himself, its so enchanting. If you like this genre you should also read The Tiger by John Vaillant and The Man Eating Leopard of Rudraprayag by Jim Corbett as well. These books are gems of this genre.

The chapter of "Man eating leopard of Rudraprayag" also is the one that everyone should have the taste of numerous intense situations experienced by Jim Corbett. Also "Man eating Tigress of Champawat". Corbett personally satisfied most after he hunt down that Rudraprayag's man eating leopard. That leopard was terrorizing those region for many years. Even Jim Corbett said the leopard was so experienced that it can sense the presence of Jim from far away, it logically outsmarted Jim's plan various times. Even Jim was ready to fight the leopard with a knife, the leopard was following him like a ghost in a stormy night. He pulled out his favorite 'Afridi Knife' just to kill it without using his Rifle. Personally i love those parts mostly
