I would love to see more coaches doing this after putting years into training the top competitors in their division, only to be snuffed out by those who just transitioned. The irony is that putting the bounty on his head probably made it easier for him to win the event. People are less likely to fold against you when you have a bounty, so you get paid off a whole lot more than normal. Nice job to the people who tried to cancel him. They created a ladies champion!

I gave your comment a thumbs up but it's a double edged sword: You see, in a long tournament, having many loose-aggressives coming for you or even loose passives actually, means you are blackmailed to loosen up yourself and win by showdowns far more than the average player there is. This means you much less often can win by knowledge of betting patterns and making the opponents fold. In the *long run* it's an advantage to Dave if he played that same tournament over and over infinite times but for a 1-off event, he had to win many more showdowns than he otherwise would have as it progressed. It's actually shocking he truly won 1st as opposed to say got bled out at 6th out of the many people there. He clearly knows cards and odds, I'm not here denying that but to have never got badbeat or cooler-handed at crucial all-ins with people thirsty for his bounty is him getting on the good side of variance that game.

The rare time I have it I get paid. I can shove AA or KK because I'll usually get called. It's a whole different style of play but it's easier when you're just waiting on solid hands.

TBF, there's no rule that men can't enter into the WSOP Ladies Event. And there's a good reason for that: That'd be gender discrimination. There's not physical advantage that men have over women in poker. Poker is a game of skill and luck. The Ladies Event is more of a way to let women play the game with other women as some kind of a social event. Dave is a brave man. I wouldn't want to be surrounded by yapping women for hours on end.

I haven't done bench press since I was 19ish, but my personal record was around 260ish I think, when I was still in high school and had been working on it for a few months. I know women are weak, but I can't believe that my high school best, done after only a few months of my first time bench pressing, is that close to the Canadian women's record. 😂

Remember many of them are on performance enhancers as well. Imagine if you got on equivalent enhancers, you would have been at 300 easy, and that’s at 19.
