Well that is how the shop owners earn money to live and pay others to work for them. The waitresses, bartenders, and cooks would like to get paid I'm sure, but no one gets paid when they are closed. The Mayor said right now they would only impose the curfew from Thursday to Sunday (I think) and if the crowds got violent during the week the city would extend the curfew to include the entire week. Looks like they might now.
