Also, running in pitch dark in the woods will do that to someone. So many obstacles in there that can cause harm - tripping over rocks/tree stumps/etc, or running into a tree or tree branch, etc.. I've seen videos of people almost getting away and what they do is wait for the officer to get out of his car and approach, that way he has to run and get back in his car, giving them a heads start. Though I'd prefer if more people did it this way so they get caught faster, I guess.

@@arnoldhenry I used to have expired tags almost every year because when your a member of the working poor it’s a tough bill to pay sometimes. For me it was because I often needed a smog and sometimes needed repairs to get that smog. Other years I’d have parking tickets I got at work that I couldn’t afford to pay so I couldn’t get my tags etc. I knew I’d always get a warning or a fixit ticket and would generally pay it 2-3 months late. I’d usually make it to the dmv before they pulled me over for it but basically every year it was late and knew I’d get pulled over if a cop got near me.

My Dad was a Colonel for ISP. When he was a major on patrol on the freeways, every traffic stop he made he had them shut the car off and he put the keys on the roof of the car! If they did nothing wrong he let them go if they did he pulled them out and never had an jssue with someone fleeing! Why these troopers dont do that is beyond me! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

IN MY VIEW The bad guy had a healthy dialogue with the officer when he was stopped the first time. His mental capacity was sound when he decided to take off a second time running from police. He drove fast without a hitch. Then AFTER he got caught he became pretty much physically incapacitated. What’s with that.
