I drove to Anchorage from L.A. back in the late 80s. Stayed in Seattle and was impressed with the city. It was beautiful and welcoming. Things change, eh? Now, it's a real crap hole.

You can see the change on Google maps street view by going back through the timeline. Green areas are now dead. You can actually see needles in the gutter from street view. Homeless tents, makeshift buildings, trash, and feces everywhere. Rather than give them free housing or shuffle them from one encampment to the next, Seattle needs to take away the drugs.

Nothing is unprovoked. That said Seattle needs to get the narcotics off the streets. They don't want to put Federal pressure on Foreign based narcotics trafficking because of Sanctuary City policy. These street drugs are coming from Mexico and Honduras and have been altered to include other substances besides fentanyl. The other problem is allowing people to live in the streets period. Start acting like responsible public servants and start enforcing the law.

I do know all of Seattle's problems have been duplicated in ALL cities on the West Coast and they all have a couple things in common. Local and State government corruption and Foreign Drug Cartel presence. And about 10 other things that fit a very similar pattern. Never gets talked about and is censored on most occasions.
