Brilliant! David was good friends with my Dad, in fact he was best man at my parents wedding in 1977. David flew my Dad to the Le Mans 24 hour race in his own plane in the late 70's. What a legend! Sadly, I never got to meet him as I was born in 84. Gone way too soon.

David Perrin is one of the major reasons I learned to fly, what an absolute gem of a man, a love story to aviation, Pitts, and little tailwheel things that make you humble, thank you David, it is indeed spiritual mate, sleep well my boy, thanks

Saw this in the 80s on National Geographic Explorer. It inspired me to learn to fly aerobatics. The sounds of Supertramp's Child of Vision and Mozart's piano concerto are missed.
