Britt owes Cody nothing. He lied all over that first date then called her a nag. Just because Leo and the horses like him it doesn't mean he is a good guy. Does he always carry around gifts for her? No, he has people call him when she shows up. Spinelli is feeling guilty about making Cody and Britt. He hasn't told anyone that Cody blackmailed him into matching him with Britt.

He could be interested in britt for Faison's money or because he really likes her but has bad social skills he tries so hard to please her. A Catherine Bell was involved with Stefan cassidine and Catherine was pushed off the parapet esme fell from by helena cassidine and helena had dealings with Faison. Makes you wonder if cute Cody is a cassidine 😀

Cody and Britt can be interesting if the writers get to the point.It doesn't have to be a romantic pairing,something light hearted and fun.Along the way maybe we can find out what Cody is really up to and what Ms Wu have on Britt.A change of pace from the writers continuing to ruin Chase/BLQ.JMO.

I believe Cody is a member of a prominent port charles family. My money is on him being a cassidine. A Catherine Bell was pushed over the same parapet esme fell off by Helena cassidine and Helena had dealings with Faison. Handsome Cody and Dex keep me watching trying to figure out who they really are. If cody is not paired with britt he can be with another port Charles lady just not maxie cause l want maxi back with her baby daddy Spinelli.

If you want to see boring watch the young and the restless it only has one interesting storyline. General hospital has the sense to have several great storylines and different characters instead of all of them being suit and tie dull people .Cody, Austin and Dex keep us guessing to who they really are and Cody is different and adds humor. Guess that's why gh rightfully won writing Emmy its seldom dull.
