I shared this song with my Atheist/Agnostic friends. I told them that we suffer the same things but our lives are not in vain and our tears are more precious than diamonds. I can not explain to others the deep and painful task to help them understand that suffering is in the human condition. It breaks my heart to know that those who suffer without God are suffering alone and in deep deep sorrow. It is all I can do to keep going knowing I am not alone.

A friend texted this song to me two days ago but I was at work and didn’t listen to it. By the next day I’d forgotten all about it. I was checking my voicemail a few minutes ago and saw she’d left one that day. She was lettiing me know I was on her heart and that she texted me a song to listen to. TODAY was the day I needed it. Am working through your devotional, "Fighting words" along with my hubby. Your words and sharing is so truthful, practical and challenging in a positive way. You quote the words of this song after looking at Isaiah 53 and we decide to log in and listen. Talk about a Jesus moment. The room filled with His presence and both of us were overcome and it was a special moment and your song just brought all the tough storm we are going through and refocused us both.
