I love the music that plays when Zod starts his speech. It’s give a low, strong but depressing vibe. Which sets the tone for General Zod. He lost his planet, his people, and spent 30 years searching the universe for a way to revive his people. It all ended up getting taken away from him. The score perfectly fits the scenario that Zod was in.

Since we all understood that Warner Bros. won't ever listen to DC fans, it became an everyday job to hope for a day when we would see a true artist have the legit liberty of finishing his vision. Man of Steel is not just a movie. It matters on so many levels for so many people, resonates in so many hearts. For mine, what Snyder wanted to do, feels like home. I'm not done hoping.

Man of Steel will always be my favourite DCEU film. No matter the differences between Snyders superman to the Classic supes, it will always be truly incredible. The Music, the VFX, everything is great. Not to mention Zod, which is like, the best villain to come out of the whole franchise. This is seriously one of those movies that HAD to be watched on the big screen. I wish they'd do a rescreening, but sadly that probably wont happen...

The most controversial fight in superhero movie history. People just couldn't suspend their belief in a superman movie and couldn't stop crying for one minute about the collateral damage in this fight, ignoring the fact that these are Kryptonians and this is Kal-El's first day as superman fighting a military general with same powers as him. He saved the entire planet that day. This is one of the best superhero fight scenes of all time.

The majority of people hated the DCEU stop gatekeeping. the people saying restore the Snyder verse are not the majority of fans, the box office reflects it, the only DCEU movie to make a billion was Aquaman. BVS was hot garbage, it had the top 3 characters and couldn't hit a billion. it was doo doo, like the entire universe, hence the reboot. Cavil was in Black Adam and it failed, the so-called fans didn't support him or the movie, if it made a billion, maybe he'd still be around. Again, most his fans are a small minority.

Way ahead of its time! Was really looking forward to seeing Henry Cavill back as Superman, just as I was for Christopher Reeve coming back for Superman 5, but it wasn't to be. I can understand Reeve not portraying Superman again, because he ended up paralyzed, but Cavill, he can still play Superman! Bizarre decision tbh. We really need DC movies kept mature, serious, but also bright, colourful and hopeful, something that can easily be done moving forward. ZSJL was fantastic and could have been the "re-start" of something fantastic, but again it has been let go. I really hope we don't go too young, silly and goofy moving forward, not mines nor my familes cup of tea, if we wanted that, we would go see a comedy. Comic book movies are losing their way and the old "DCEU" slate wasn't given enough time to flourish. Let's hope DC movies really pulls it out the bag soon, but I don't think the bulk of the fans have been as hyped up since the old slate was released almost a decade ago.
