My wife told some of her friends while she was dying that I had become superman, handling a million tasks at once. I didn't become superman, I was still a man. I was used to handling a million things at once, just not so intensely for the 5 months she was dying, and it took a toll on my body that I am still healing from. My wife didn't like me crying near here while she was dying, so I would sneak off to remote parts of the hospital and cry alone (covid restricted visitors, thank you CCP virus!). I know this song isn't about really being superman, but rather about being a man, who is expected to be superman. At times I wish I was superman, and could fly off to somewhere. Of course, if anyone had these powers, and had a heart, they would not be able to easily fly off and be alone. They would always be drawn into something new.

Take the time to read this comment. There's so much reflected in this video. It's been my favorite video on youtube for over 2 years now. From Clark choosing to suffer from homelessness and hitching rides like a normal person, to being bullied as a kid, to watching loved ones die, all things that could've been prevented had he not been so morally bound. The restricting and limiting of his powers demonstrates his control and self-discipline exercised daily in his life. He allows himself to be handcuffed and taken so he can prove he's worthy to a species obviously inferior to himself. Humbled beyond anything I've ever seen. Yet consequentially, it results in him being lonely and distant from the rest of the world. The strongest man in the world is able to feel weak, helpless. As hard as this is to believe, I can relate. I've saved so many people from the edge of something dark and dangerous, people who won't even remember me now. I've been stuck at minimum wage or demanding and unfair jobs, homeless in dangerous situations, bullied, abused used and left for dead. And more. So much more. But I kept fighting. A day at a time. Learning. Growing and adapting. And always finding reasons to keep faith and hope. I've come so far and grown so much. I may not have a career or professional purpose in this world. But I know God put me here to help others within my power. This video inspired that part within me. Perseverance I believe the word is. If you are someone or know another going through something, send them my way. Every life matters. I want to help others since I cannot help myself. Never lose faith guys. Always keep going on. If not for anyone else, then for you.

There's a sequence from an issue of "Superman" where he figures out how to stop a dangerous fire at S.T.A.R Labs and accomplishes it in mere seconds. (It may have been faster than that, it's been awhile since I've read the story.) Anyway, one of the doctors says -- after Superman explains what he did and how he figured it out -- "Don't you find it amazing that you can do all these impossible things?" And Superman replies, "No, what I have to remember is that everyone else CAN'T!" It's not easy to fill Superman's shoes. So many negative comments and feelings towards this character, yet they don't even try to understand the man apart from the super is and what he ultimately strives for. This song along with this perfectly crafted video really embodies how superman must feel, having all that power and no one truly knows the humongous weight that comes with it all. It's very hard to fill Christopher Reeves red boots, but I think Henry Cavill does a close enough job. Too bad they pushed him away from the role. I would've loved to have seen more of what he could've done with it in a man of steel part 2 installment. Peace and love.

i did not see the movie but they mention you can see something forming above the casket or grave (I forget the spoiler exactly) if you look closely. So he's not "dead-dead". There ALWAYS has to be a sequel.
