How could he be charged with child endangerment when he did what millions of other people did he found a good babysitter As a matter of fact he found a very very good babysitter, So you're kind of dissing that babysitter saying that she endangered the child somehow 🥴

She was a complete stranger! He left her with a complete stranger! Did he ask for references? Does he know anybody who employed her for such purposes? Did he bring her to his home for her to care for the child there, where there would be a toilet, food and snacks? No, he didn't. He left her on the streets with a homeless person. Fortunately, this homeless person had a heart of gold.

If he was planning on driving after leaving the bar, that would be child endangerment. Also, next time, he might not be so lucky to find such a good babysitter. That little girl was granted a reprieve, and the publicity may help prevent her from being another statistic of familial neglect. Good job. LE

Yeah, but she was a stranger whose background, why she was homeless, had she ever cared for the children of others, does she have a criminal background etc. He was supposed to be babysitting the granddaughter, but he leaves her out on the street with a homeless person. He is the derelict who belongs in jail for this. That homeless woman is practically a saint, for taking the girl out for ice cream and stuff with the $20 that he gave her.

He needed a babysitter? He was supposed to be the babysitter! Instead, he leaves his granddaughter out on the street with a complete stranger who he does not know anything about. If he had talked to that woman first about herself and her background, how she ended up homeless, and at least asked her to keep in sight of the bar while he drank, that might have been another story. But no, he abandoned the child to a stranger. Dude belongs in jail.

Also, he could have just taken her with him to a liquor store (accompanied children are allowed in them) and bought whatever he needed to drink and returned home. There would have been no story or arrest if he had done that.

When child protection puts children in foster homes and those children are abused.......shouldn't we be charging child protection with a crime ......and if you hire a daycare to take care of ur kids and something happens to them shouldn't you be hrld accountable.......how does that make sense......not saying he made the best choice.....but you never know who you are dealing with these days
