I know a person who was hunting with his friend when he was a teen that got a bullet in the brain and survived from it. The bullet ricochetted off a tree and went through his tear duct. He was in critical condition and close to death for a while. They had to cut the skull to relieve pressure in the brain. He had a long recovery. He lost mobility and brain power somewhat for quite a while. It will probably never be 100% with him, but he can still function mostly normal now. He still has the bullet in his brain. It is too far in. To remove it would cause too much damage and be too dangerous for him. Yes, it is possible to survive with a bullet inside your brain.
