He knows his stuff! Musc Noir is so underrated in my opinion. I think the rose version is more popular but smells so much more generic with the added vanilla. I know what you mean about Musc Noir - it’s not really a freshy with the subtle suede note, yet there is something very refreshing and juicy about it. I just think it is mature and feminine and fresh and I will always have it in my collection.

I only ask my partner his opinion on my fragrances occasionally, they are mostly quieter ones for my own enjoyment - but I still enjoy hearing a male's perspective on women's fragrances. Sometimes I do want to know if I actually smell pleasing to others or what is the best choice to wear when going out. These type of videos are even more intriguing when he's selecting unique ones that aren't the top sellers of the past few years! You are so right about No 5. I bought mine at 26 for my birthday. Didn't reach for it but kept it. At 34 I was moving into my house and unpacking my perfumes and decided to spray it on my wrist. I agree 100%! i bought the 30ml last year when it came out because I was curious, and I've been wearing it ever since (I'm on my 3rd refill). It sounded super boring on paper but the way it's blended makes it both pleasant and unique 🥰 The only thing is that right now, it's so hot in my country that I actually find it a bit too sweet so I've switched to La Femme from Prada. But as soon as the temperature goes below 30 degrees Celsius, I'll be wearing Paradoxe daily again 😊

The first one You showed "Chanel CoCo Noir " is the only one I have smelled and have been told what it is. It was in a gift basket a co-worker received from her partner. The whole office smelled like it and I did not mind. Mr. Scented knows what he is talking about. Gucci Bamboo sounds nice.

Woohoo KZbin's Super Couple is back! I'm very impressed with your man's nose. Anthony from Curly Scents has competition! hahaha My husband on the other hand can't tell the difference between Libre and Coco Mad. But he has complimented me on it, so I guess men really do like that one too! Interesting thing is that he has an aversion to Chanel N5 and any of its derivatives. He literally compared it to a bar of soap at his grandma's house. I am interested in the L'Eau version, but not sure if it's a safe buy just yet

I love that he enjoys Chanel n5! Many ladies I know can’t stand it. I think the first blast can be too much but the dry down is so beautiful. I also wish I felt the same way about Gucci bamboo. I tried the edp and it smelled like urine on me, maybe it’s the Lily.

Yes! The edp has that vibe but Mr.Scented doesn't pick it up. I'd recommend the EDT! I don't catch that same off-putting note in it

I wanted to love Coco Mademoiselle! But I tested it on my skin and it was horrible!! Even my honest friend said it did not smell good on me. The smell just did not jive with me! I couldn’t wait to wash it off. However a fellow friend and perfume lover suggested I try Chanel No. 19 EDT!! Wow!! Amazing scent on me! I absolutely love it!!

Where do you guys live? Me and my boyfriend are from NY and we smell things so differently! I would say mine and yours have very refined tastes and don’t like the normal “maneater” fragrances but they go in different directions when it comes to favorites. No one I know likes Chanel in my friend group 😂 I wish I did, I want to embody the feeling people get when wearing such a sophisticated fragrance. I also own Candy Kiss and it’s one of my boyfriends least favorite, it’s too musky and sweet for him. His favorite on me is Neroli Portifino by TF. Just thought this was interesting to share. Believe it or not, I actually didn't put a foundation on that day! I used the Clinique cc cream that's tinted with spf. I got the color light-medium. I did a little blush and contour aside from that :)
