I definitely was able to relate to this video.I went through something similar in my marriage. My ex assumed that I was cheating on him due to a play on words. I was driving out of town for classes, and while on the phone with him, a long conversation mind you, it started to rain. I was in traffic and said to him, "oh no, we got caught in the rain", meaning me and the other cars on the road. He didn't say anything to me at that time, but acted weird and stopped really talking to me the entire time I was gone, and even when I returned. Like the lady in the video, I begged and pleaded with him for days to tell me what was wrong. His response was that he would figure it out in his head. After about a week of me thinking that he had an illness and didn't know how to tell me, he revealed that when I made the"we" statement about being in the rain, that his brain told him that I was cheating on him and on a couples trip... huh??? Well needless to say, because he believed the scenarios he played in his head, he no longer trusted me and after I fought alone to try to make our marriage work, it eventually ended in divorce. Trust and communication is the foundation of marriage; without either, the marriage is destined for failure.
